Trapani coral is the protagonist of Fendi’s “Hand in Hand” project. The iconic bag designed by Silvia Venturini Fendi in 1997 will be reinterpreted and handmade by 20 master craftsmen, one for each region of Italy, using the most peculiar and traditional techniques. The “mastru curaddaru” Platimiro Fiorenza is specialized in working coral, according to an ancient art that dates back to the sixteenth century and has been named “Living Human Treasure”.
